If we can stop long enough to keep it real I think we could all admit we have some kind of struggle going on, right? Whether it is a physical problem or a mental worry, it impacts our quality of life. Grief for me has been the wildest + most emotional ROLLERCOASTER ride I have ever been on.
I can’t sit here and talk to you about my process through it without mentioning essential oils. I just can’t because I wouldn’t be authentic in that space. They are what I had in my hand (literally) from the beginning of my husband’s cancer story. I also know I didn’t have them in my hand for the many losses I experienced prior to his. All were beyond difficult, the key is… I had something in my hand to help my heart, mind + body to move through the immense waves this last time. And as you well know (because it is probably why you are here) any movement forward AT ALL is ah-mazing progress. So, let’s learn a little more about why + how this particular tool of mine made it into my grief processing toolbox.

what are they + why should I use them
An essential oil is a volatile aromatic compound (think liquid that evaporates into tiny airborne molecules) found in some of nature’s most basic gifts: seeds, bark, roots, stems, flowers + plants.
